Pilot- Meet Max, to anyone, she's just like any other girl, trying to survive in a country gone bad. But Max isn't just any girl. She's genetically engineered to be a soldier, soldier with feline DNA, that makes her super-fast and super-tough. Until 2009, she lived in a secret facility called Manticore in Gillette, Wyoming. But then, her and others, her "siblings", called the X5 series, and they all have barcodes on the back of their necks, escaped. She now lives in Seattle, Washington, but is cautious, always watching her back for Manticore. And she searches for the others that escaped that night. Her siblings. During the day, she works as a messenger for Jam Pony Messenger Service. But at night, she's a thief. It's this night job that leads to Logan Cale, a rich, but warmhearted cyber journalist. Logan tracks her down after she botches a robbery at his apartment. He figured out that she was a X5 from Manticore, and wants her to help him with a project called Eyes Only. Max turns him down, but he tempts her by saying that if she helps him, he'll help her find the other X5's. Logan is later shot while trying to protect an informant, and Max saves him.

Heat- Max is doing the legwork for Eyes Only because the shooting that Logan was involved in paralyzed him from the waist down. Max is annoyed with him, saying that he isn't finding the X5's fast enough.

Flushed- Because of a faulty gene, Max and other X5's suffer from seizures. They can be controlled however, with a drug called Tryptophane, which produces a chemical that the X5's need, but their brain doesn't produce on it's own. Max gets this, but her seizures were getting particularly bad. She was also getting irritable from the seizures, and needed more Tryptophane than usual. Her friends, Original Cindy, and Kendra, mistake this for a drug addiction, and throw the Tryptophane away. Max, desperate, breaks in to a hospital for more, but in her weakened state, is captured, and taken to jail. Where she meets a kind-hearted man and a young girl who reminds her of someone from her past.

C.R.E.A.M- Logan is asked by a deceased friend and mentor's daughter to look into the man's death. Logan, of course, helps the young woman who may not be all she seems.

411 on the DL- Max's barcode shows up in a newspaper, who is after her?

Prodigy- Max is interested when a doctor makes a breakthrough in genetics with a young boy named Jude. Thinking that maybe he could help her with her seizures, she asks Logan to get her in the conference that the doctor is holding. She goes in, and gets two big surprises. She comes closer to Lydecker than she ever imagined, and she has to deal with terrorists.

Cold Comfort- Max is surprised when she comes home to her apartment to find a bloody, injured Zack there. She takes him to Logan's where he tells her that he was contacted by Brin, another X5. She was in trouble, Manticore was on her tail. And she was sick, Brin had Progeria, another disease of the X5's, which causes some of them to age rapidly. Zack was hit by a Manticore jeep while attempting to help her. Brin was captured. Max and Zack team up to find her, kidnapping Lydecker in the process. They force him to tell them where Brin was being held, but also giving him a look at their faces. They find Brin, and barely manage to escape, but Brin is dying. Lydecker tells them there's a cure, but they would have to give Brin to him. Brin tells them to, because she didn't want to die. Reluctantly, they leave her for Lydecker, Max swearing that they would come back and get her out.

Blah Blah, Woof Woof- Lydecker puts together a picture of Max, and is papering the city with it. Max is saved, however by big brother Zack, and Logan. Zack tells Max that they have to get out of Seattle, because it's too dangerous for her. Logan lets them stay at his cabin until they can safely leave. But Max goes back to Seattle after Logan's earlier bullet wounds put him back in the hospital.

Out- Max is angry after Logan cancels their dinner for an Eyes Only mission. She gets fed up, and says she's through. But then Logan is kidnapped by a powerful smuggler.

Red- Logan asks Max to protect a man who is going to testify in a trial. Max obliges, but is shocked to find that it is a man both she and Logan know. Bruno Anselmo, the man who shot Logan, and put him in his wheelchair. Max resists guarding him, but softens when she learns that he has a daughter. But is Bruno all that he seems to be?

Art Attack- Logan asks Max to accompany him to his cousin's wedding. Max agrees, curious because she has never been to a wedding. When she gets there, she finds a former flame of Logan's, and a bunch of rich snobs. But great wedding cake. She's pulled away however, when Original Cindy calls to tell her that their boss at Jam Pony, Normal, is in trouble with a murderous man.

Rising- Max is confronted again by dangerous foes who have taken Original Cindy hostage to get to her. Which forces her to take drastic measures in order to save her friend.

The Kidz are aiilight- Max is forced to ignore the blossoming attraction between Logan and her when Zack escapes from Manticore after months of torture.

Female Trouble- Because of a transfusion from Max earlier, Logan's spine started to heal, and his legs began to work again. But they are now starting to fail, so he takes trust in a mysterious doctor, without telling Max. Max, worried about Logan being so secretive, follows him, and learns about the doctor. But she is shocked to realize that this doctor is one from Manticore, one who used to torture her and her siblings. But Max is forced to protect the doctor when they realize that Manticore wants her dead.

Haven- Logan takes Max on a vacation to a little town called Cape Haven. Max is angry, though, when she learns that it's not a vacation for Logan. He's working on an Eyes Only case. So she is on bad terms with him when she befriends a young boy, and learns that this town has a secret. One that has killed and maybe will again.

Shorties in Love- Trouble is brewing when Original Cindy's former lover, Diamond, comes into town. Diamond figures out Max's night job, and follows her, getting Max caught. When she gets out, Logan learns that Diamond has a shady past, and just escaped from prison. And that she has a deadly secret.

Pollo Loco- Max is forced to look back on her past when a body shows up in a Seattle morgue. A body with a barcode on the back of it's neck. But it may not be what it appears to be.

I and I am a camera- Max meets up with a seemingly genetically enhanced stalker. But he turns out to be an ally, trying to stop a mysterious string of murders. Which Logan might end up being the next victim.

Hit a sista back- Max finds one of her siblings, Tinga's, picture on a milk carton. Only the name is not Tinga, but Penny Smith. It seems that Tinga is married, and she left behind a family when she fled with Zack, and her husband is trying to find her. She also has a son named Case. Max warns him that Penny was not what she seemed to be, and that he needed to drop it. He refuses, so Max decides to try and help him, because Manticore would be after him. The night that Max decides to spring them out, Tinga shows up, trying to do the same thing. They get out, but there's a problem. Case has his mother's genetic talents, and Manticore had found out. Lydecker had been posing as a teacher, and had made Case sick. The only way he'd give them the cure was that Tinga turned herself over to him. Tinga does so to save her son's life. Only Lydecker is doubled-crossed by his boss, the shady Madame X, who takes Tinga to have experiments done on her.

MEOW- Max suffers from yet another problem from her feline DNA. She goes into heat, and it jumping at every guy she sees. Even Normal! She has a problem too, it's Logan and her anniversary of the day they met. He wants to have dinner, she wants to crawl in a hole until her hormones calm down. She tries to avoid all guys, but there's an encounter with a cute pizza guy. She feels bad, and confesses to Logan about her problem, he understands, they kiss! But then Zack comes, and tell Max he's found where Tinga is. They go, and when they go in, they find bad news, and Max is caught by Lydecker.

And Jesus brought a Casserole (Season One finale)- Max has been caught by Lydecker, but his boss, Madame X, has a hit out on him. So he gets depressed, and tries to kill Max and himself. Max gets pissed, and stops him, saying that they can take down Manticore. Lydecker agrees, and they go back to Logan's where Zack has got two more X5's. Syl and Krit. They were going to go rescue Max when she shows up and tells them that they're doing to take down Manticore. They get inside, but will they get out?

Designate This (Season Two Primere)- Max is inside Manticore, Logan thinks she's dead. Madame X or Renfro, is busy torturing Max, trying to get Eyes Only's identity, because he is making a problem for Manticore. Because Max and Zack destroyed the DNA Lab, the soldiers have to mate. Max is partnered with Alec, who is a copy of her brother Ben. Max tells Alec to shove it. Max devises a plan to escape Manticore, and meets Joshua, a Manticore soldier who is not perfect, and has been living in Manticore's basement for years. Joshua has a fierce, canine-like apperance, but is sweet and gentle. He tells Max about "The Sandman" who created him, then left him. Max works together with Joshua and Alec to try and escape. She finally does, despite Renfro's threat that if she didn't reveal Eyes Only's name, she would burn down Manticore with everyone inside. Max makes it back to Logan, but when she touches him, Logan starts to get very ill. Max is surprised when Alec arrives, and reveals himself as a rat. Max has a virus inside her in which she cannot touch Logan, or he'll die. Max, furious, sends out the Eyes Only bulletin, which reveals Manticore. Renfro, true to her word, begins to burn it down with everyone locked inside. Max hurried back to get a vaccine for Logan, and releases all of the Manticore soldiers. Max takes Renfro hostage, and forces her to give her the vaccine for Logan. A guard goes to shot Max, but Renfro takes the bullet for her. When Max asks why, she is told that she is the one they have been looking for, and that she has to find "The Sandman." Max is also told, however, that there is no cure for the virus in her.
